The Hikvision DS-2CD2186G2-IMS combines an 8MP network camera with an HDMI connection for a nearby live-view monitor. Its fixed 2.8mm lens provides a wide overview, while the 3840 x 2160 network image offers more recording detail than a Full HD camera. The network recording resolution should not be confused with the HDMI display resolution.
Designed for indoor use, the metal dome has an IK10 impact rating and infrared illumination up to 30 metres. Audio and alarm connections support integration with other equipment, and a memory-card slot provides an onboard storage option. A compatible NVR can record the network feed while the HDMI output supplies the local view. Power comes from 12V DC or PoE.
