The Hikvision DS-2CV2041G2-IDW(W) is a 4MP bullet camera with a fixed 2.8mm lens and Wi-Fi networking. It can provide a camera connection where running an Ethernet data cable is inconvenient, but it still needs a wired 12V DC power supply. It is not a battery-powered camera.
A built-in microphone and speaker support two-way audio, with infrared lighting rated up to 30 metres for night viewing. The housing is rated IP66, and an Ethernet port is available for a wired network connection. Plan around the Wi-Fi signal at the actual mounting position and check the recording and remote-viewing arrangement before installation. Wireless signal strength and obstructions affect connection reliability.
