The Hikvision DS-2TD1228-3/QA HeatPro combines a thermal sensor with a separate optical camera in one turret housing. The thermal channel records at 256 x 192, while the optical channel provides a 2688 x 1520 view. This lets you check a heat-based alert against a conventional picture of the scene.
Human and vehicle classification helps filter perimeter alerts, with line-crossing and intrusion detection available for configured areas. Temperature exception detection adds another way to flag unusual conditions. This model has a 3.6mm thermal lens, audio and alarm connections, and supports either 12V DC or PoE power. Thermal detection distances and identification distances are not the same, so lens selection and mounting position matter when planning coverage.
