The Hikvision DS-7616NI-M2/16P is a 16-channel M Series NVR with 16 PoE ports and two SATA drive bays. It connects to compatible IP cameras and stores their recordings centrally, with an HDMI output supporting up to 8K for a suitable monitor. A VGA output is also provided.
H.265+ compression can reduce recording storage and network usage where supported by the cameras. The recorder supports high-resolution camera inputs up to 32MP, but its highest-resolution mode reduces the available channel count. Maximum input resolution is not the same as the number of streams it can decode at once. Choose the storage configuration above. Shell Only excludes recording hard drives; the other options include the selected total recording capacity. Check your camera mix, bandwidth and desired retention period before choosing storage.
