Built for larger IP camera systems, the Hikvision DS-96128NI-M16/R supports up to 128 camera channels and has 16 SATA bays. Its rack-mount chassis provides central recording for sites that need more storage and camera capacity than a compact NVR.
The recorder supports 8K or dual 4K display configurations, with HDMI and VGA outputs for local monitoring. RAID options and redundant power supplies add resilience when the recording system is correctly configured. RAID is not a substitute for a separate backup of important footage. Check total camera bandwidth, decoding requirements and the supported drive configuration when sizing the system; the maximum channel count does not mean every camera can run at its highest settings simultaneously.
