The Hikvision DS-96256NI-H24R supports up to 256 IP cameras and has 24 SATA interfaces in a 4U chassis. It is intended for a large recording installation, with incoming and outgoing bandwidth specified at up to 1.25Gbps.
The recorder supports RAID and N+1 hot-spare arrangements, along with compatible specialist cameras such as fisheye, people-counting and ANPR models. Plan the recording drives, network and decoding requirements as a complete system. Storage resilience does not remove the need to back up footage that must be retained.
