The Hikvision iDS-96256NXI-H24R is a 256-channel DeepinMind recorder for a rack-based surveillance installation. Its 4U chassis and incoming bandwidth of up to 1024Mbps support a large IP camera system with centralised recording and supported analytics.
RAID and network hot-spare options are available for resilience. Camera recording load, decoding and analytics capacity need to be planned together, as the maximum figures do not mean every function can run at full capacity simultaneously. Important footage should also be retained separately from the recorder.
