The Hikvision iDS-2CD7A45G0/P-IZHSY is a 4MP DeepinView camera with automatic number plate recognition. Its motorised 4.7-118mm lens provides 25x optical zoom, allowing the installer to frame a vehicle approach or lane from a fixed camera position.
The camera processes number plates onboard and uses infrared illumination for night operation. The illumination is rated up to 200 metres, but that is not a guaranteed plate-reading distance. Reliable recognition depends on plate size in the image, vehicle speed, mounting angle, lighting and exposure settings. H.265 compression helps manage recording data, and audio and alarm connections support integration with compatible equipment. The enclosure is rated IP67 and IK10.
